Katie Mauldin, PA-C

Katie received her bachelor’s degrees in Spanish and in Sociology from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2007, and a master’s degrees in Sociology in 2010. She became an Advanced EMT and worked as an Emergency Department Technician at Saint Mary’s ER for 7 years as well as worked as an AEMT at Burning Man.

Katie has dedicated her time volunteering at Kanti Children’s Hospital in Kathmandu, Nepal and Buena Vista Clinic in Cusco, Peru with Volunteering Solutions. Although she loved being an EMT/ED Technician, Katie wanted to do more to help her patients. Shortly after returning from her volunteer missions, she returned to school and earned a Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree from UNR in 2021.

In her free time, she enjoys traveling, hiking, geocaching, and spending time with family and friends.
